Sunday mornings at FUMC are a special time. It's as much a time for fellowship and connecting as it is for worship and teaching. Whether you attend every week or are visiting us for the first time, we invite you to join us in our Higher Grounds Cafe in the multi-purpose room. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and snacks are available before, during and after services and Sunday School classes.
9:00am: Our "Early Risers" service features contemporary worship with praise & worship singing, music videos and a message tailored to living as Chrisitians in today's culture. A music- and media-enhanced service with a message for all age groups.
9:45am: Sunday School and "small group" classes for children, youth and adults to help you delve deeper into God's message for your life.

11:00am: A traditional liturgical service with messages directed at living as Christians in modern culture. Features choir and organ performances supplemented by electronic media.
Our greeters and hospitality team are happy to direct you to the class that best suits your needs and interests. If you'd like to learn more, drop us an e-mail or call the church office at 304-375-6386.

6:00-8:00pm: IHS (In His Steps) Youth Group is for teenagers in grades 7-12 to explore their faith and learn how to be disciples in a broken and often confusing world. Mission activities are designed to share the relevance of Christ and give youth the opportunity to become God's hands and feet on earth...we seek to enable and equip our youth to be agents for revival in their school, community and world.
A light dinner/snack is served at each weekly meeting. Group meetings start with a worship time, singing contemporary praise & worship songs and sharing a message of hope with a call to action. Weekly lessons focus on Bible study, personal spiritual growth and evangelism. All of this happens in our Youth Room above the multi-purpose room in a fun, engaging environment.
IHS Youth Group is tightly integrated with our Sunday morning Sunday School class. Our Youth Ministry Team strives to provide consistent, cohesive learning opportunities to all our youth. We also participate in several group activities, trips and events each year, including Creation Festival Northeast every summer.
